As for mental problems in children and adolescents, Dr Alejandra Halllin is a child psychiatrist at Harvard University, we have a psychologist specializing in mental disorders in children and adolescents.
Dra. Alejandra Hallin – Psychiatrist

Alejandra Hallin Corcuera was born in Barcelona in 1967 and lives in Marbella, Malaga from Year 2000. Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra, she specialized in Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital in New York.
In 1996, moved to Harvard University (USA) where she specializes in Child Psychiatry, studied a Master of Public Health and holds a degree in Forensic Psychiatrist. After completing her studies at the university, was named director of the Mental Health Service of Boston school system and served as Professor of Child Psychopharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Harvard University.
Alejandra Hallin has published on topics such as drug addiction psychiatric, depression or bipolar disorder, in U.S. scientific journals. She is co-author of Diagnosis and Psychopharmacology in Childhood and Adolescent Disorders (John Wiley & Sons, 1996).
Cristina Blanco – Psychologist

Cristina Blanco was born in Malaga 1975 and exceeded the corresponding studies at BA in Psychology at the University of Malaga in 1998. In that same year she began an intense collaboration with professional GACAR “Associative Group Rehabilitated Alcoholics” which lasted for two years.
Her role as a psychologist gave her the opportunity to work with both poly-drug users as patients with family, both individual and group. Also, has carried out fruitful work of Drug Addiction Prevention at Community level.
During that time, parallel she completed a Masters in “Sexology and Sex Therapy” Year ending 2000.
Looking for new strands of knowledge and professional experience, Cristina Travel to Dublin (Ireland) where she lived for five years. A educational level, she received her Diploma in “Special Care Program” issued by the prestigious “Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul”, directed to work with mentally retarded patients . The relationship with the entity culminated in a professional work of two years during which Cristina had the opportunity to lend their expertise in this area of psychology.
Next, was part of the treatment team of the Organization “St Michael´s Youth Project” where she held a guiding function and treatment with young people with alcohol and drug addiction.
On her return to Spain she joined as a professional with the team of Medical Center Dr. Medical Centre, where her role of Director of Hospital Services from serving patients accessing our treatment programs aimed at eradicating anxiety problems, depression, alcoholism, addictions, etc..
Gema Gutiérrez- Psychologist
Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Gema Gutierrez was born in La Linea de la Concepcion, Cádiz, in 1978, she obtained her Psychology degree at the University of Granada in 2000. In the same year, she participated in giving workshops and counseling in “Despierta”, a day center for substance dependent patients in a detox process..
In order to improve her knowledge and professional experience, Gema attended various congresses and conferences on different areas of psychology, including: Emotional Intelligence, sexually transmitted diseases, eating disorders and gerontology.
In Granada, Gema provides services coordinator in the organization, development and communication on HIV awareness and prevention.
On his return to La Linea de la Concepcion, she worked on the development of educational activities for children separated from their families. Her work with children was further developed when, in 2003, she travelled to Northampton, where she treated children with learning difficulties in reading skills development. At the same time, she extended her training at St Andrew’s Hospital
In 2012, Gema joined the team at the Dr Hallin . Medical Centre marbella, where she currently works as a child and adolescent psychologist. Gema has completed a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology, organized by the Institute for Clinical and Health Psychology (ISPCS) in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Behavioral Psychology (AEPC) and the European Institute of Applied Psychology (IEPA).
Priscíla Alarcón – Psychologist
Specialist in Eating Disorders and Child-Youth Psychology
Priscila Alarcón was born in Málaga in 1989. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Málaga since 2012. Since her university years, she has been working at Association Adaner where she is responsible for helping people with eating disorders….
she is responsible for helping people with eating disorders, mostly anorexia, bulimia nervosa and binge-eating disorder.
Since 2012, she also works with Artaban Association (Therapeutic Accompaniment Spaces), where she has been developing her knowledge of group therapy with people who are going through an illness process, mourning, anxiety or depression, among others.
She firmly believes that lifelong learning and training is essential for any good professional, that is why she has attended and completed courses, workshops, and congresses with regard to various aspects of Psychology: eating disorders, sexuality, third-generation therapies, hearing impairment, dyslexia, etc.
She is also co-author of the book “Guide for interpretation and evaluation of clinical cases using PAI” (Personality Assessment Inventory).
She speaks Spanish and English and joined the medical team of Centro Médico Dr. Hallin in 2015.
Sensi Collado – Psychologist
Specialist in Disorders of the Third Age and in Child-Youth Psychology
Sensi has a degree in Psychology from the University of Malaga since 2001. She has a Master in Child Psychology and another Master in Clinical Practice Sanitary, in addition to extra courses in Gradior Cognitive Rehabilitation, Alzheimer’s and Child Care.
She has also worked as a Psychologist in Memory Workshops for Alzheimer’s Patients
Kari Laliberte -Psychologist
Child and Youth Psychological Treatment, Counseling in Emergencies
Kari Laliberte was born in Fauske, Norway in 1964. She obtained her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Malaga in 2014. She has completed the Masters of Child and Youth Psychological Treatment, Counseling in Emergencies and Catastrophes both by the University of Malaga from 2015 to 2016.
Developing her professional work in private practice treating the adult and child – juvenile population. She has collaborated with Aprona Association pro-discapacitados psíquicos de Estepona. She speaks three languages Norwegian, Spanish and English. She belongs to the team of Dr. Hallin Medical Center since 2017
Elena Romero -Psychologist
Master in Child and Family Psychology
Elena Romero was born in Algeciras, Cádiz, in 1988 and obtained her degree in Psychology at the Camilo José Cela University in Madrid in 2011. In 2012 she started the official Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Health obtained at the same University, completed in 2014.
She has a master’s degree in Child and Family Psychology, as well as several courses on autism spectrum disorders, learning difficulties and cognitive stimulation in early care.
She speaks Spanish and English (since he attended 2nd year of E.S.O in a boarding school in Bath – Stonar School).
Since 2017, she has been working in the Psychology medical team of Dr. Hallin.
Nutrition Specialist doctor
Rosa Sanchez started working in occupational Medicine, but her professional career was interrupted by illness.
Her experience as a leukemia patient is compiled in a book and a photography exhibition entitled “Recuperar la luz”(Recovering light).
In 2001 she restarted her working career, mainly as instructor in Red Cross, as medical staff in a Spa, and carrying out dissemination activities for health, which included physical activities and exercise prescription (A.C.E. Personal Trainer certification, 2002), practicing as basketball and football teams sports doctor until 2005.
Since 2005, she works in the nutrition field being part of the unit of Obesity treatment of Hotel Incosol Medical & Spa, where she worked as medical adviser until 2007. Between 2006 and 2012, she worked as a private doctor for obesity and nutrition at Dr. Almagro’s clinic in Marbella. She is currently engaged in private medicine, advising patients and athletes about nutrition and health aspects.
Her collaboration with Dra. Hallin´s team started in February 2015..
She believes that life habits, and especially diet, are the basic foundation of health in which emotional aspects are strongly present.
